My name is Todd Michael Hill and I am pleased to inform you that a committee with the University of Texas at Arlington has selected me to be an Archer Fellow. The Bill Archer Fellowship is a highly competitive internship program within the UT system that allows students to serve as an intern in Washington D.C. while accumulating college credit hours. I will be interning at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, The White House Communications Office, or the Department of Homeland Security.
This Fellowship represents everything that I have worked hard for in my
life—overcoming a number of obstacles and paying for my education myself, all
the while developing real-life knowledge and skills through political
campaigning and organizing in Tarrant County. I’m pleased and excited that the University of Texas at Arlington has bestowed this honor upon me.
Now that I am an Archer Fellow my challenge is to raise the funds necessary to cover expenses. The Fellowship begins January 4, 2010, covering the spring semester ending
April 26, 2010. I’m asking for your help in raising the resources necessary to not only be an Archer Fellow, but to also ensure that I’m able to fulfill my life obligations here at home, and be able to return to Tarrant County with my enhanced knowledge and skills in good standing. Archer Fellows are not allowed to work while performing their internship. I’m asking you to please consider not only investing in an Archer Fellow, but the future of the Democratic Party as well.
Please explore my website, the resource links to learn more about the Archer Fellowship, and take a moment to read my biography,
about my community activities and my political accomplishments. I hope that you will feel compelled
to support my Fellowship and donate today!
As of October 27, 2009, Todd has raised over $10,500 toward the $11,000
goal.
The amount raised indicated by this website is reflective only of PayPal online
donations.
